Qigong Training with mindfulness techniques

Have you noticed your energy lower with each passing day? Maybe you’re dragging your feet in the middle of the day. It used to be at the end of the day, but now it’s happening sooner and more frequently.
Sure, there are normal ups and downs of life: family, husband, wife, kids, work, chores, and on and on. But where did it go… that vitality you used to have?
Then add in your state of mind: downers and uppers, your life situation, the addictions, and the disabilities.
You probably feel like a balloon with little tiny holes in it. Your life force energy (Qi) leaks out of you like air out of a balloon. All these holes combine, and you’ve developed what’s called Leaking Qi.

Working With the Life Force Energy (Qi)

In the Chinese language, “Qi” means “energy”; “gong” means work. So, Qigong is defined as you’re working with life force energy.
We had a lot of it at birth, called natal Qi; but as we mature, we either blow it out until there’s no more, or we learn to cultivate it and preserve it.
As life matures, our bodies advance and youthful vitality gives way to the natural aging process. But aging accelerates when we harbor old, negative feelings. Unresolved resentments stew and anger festers that burn energy, depleting your Qi.
Anger has many faces. If there are rumblings of anger in your mind, then undoubtedly, they are in your body, too. Ultimately, these unresolved frustrations will become toxic. Leaking Qi underlies psychosomatic disorders.

Healing the Body

While mental health counseling has a legitimate function in identifying root causes of stress, the resolution needs to include healing the body.
Memories are in the body that the mind may have forgotten or avoided. But the biochemistry of survival that’s wired between the brain and the body’s nervous system retains significant events from the past. Thus, leaking Qi slowly and steadily sets up a deterioration of the mind, body, and eventually spirit.
You can replenish and cultivate your life force, or post-natal Qi. This is done through breathing, visualization, sitting and standing postures, meditative movements, and energy preservation of Qigong.

It’s Time To Stop Your Leaks!

In your "Help Heal Me" sessions, we gradually build up your physical strength, vital life force, flexibility, and mental acuity. Each client has a specific personalized program to address their condition, whether for recovery, chronic pain, or multiple sclerosis. Weekly progress is measured through careful observations and testing Qi fullness, called Peng.
With practice, your awareness of your body and Qi gets more sensitive. It’s like a really sensitive radar that can pick up even an annoying bug on your screen. You notice where your energy may be stuck both psychologically and physically.
Properly applying the knowledge of your life force, your Qi begins to get replenished. And you will have learned how to prevent Qi from leaking back out.
As a client in the "Help Heal Me" program, you will learn to name your life issues for what they are, change directions so you don’t drive over the cliff, and gain the tools to better manage the areas of your life where you may be losing Qi.
Once you can put those areas of your life in perspective, gain harmony, and truly embrace your whole health, then Qi begins to manifest itself in other realms of your life for the good.
